I am David Delgado, a visual artist working mostly in paintings but not exclusively. Although my education is been in graphic and product design, my practice has been focused on contemporary arts since the first moment. Even more, I remember having this aim since primary school time. Very into abstract art with a clear tendency to Dada as a result of my skepticism, even more, my nihilism. Paying more importance to the visual impression, rather than ideology or narrative. I try to do art that sca

Indian art is a concise term encompassing a broad range, both in terms of medium, timescale and geography. It covers an immense variety of forms, including pottery and sculpture, jewellery, cave paintings, and textiles. It also describes artworks originating in geographical areas that we know today as India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Indian art history reflects this diversity.

  • the dialectic of the worm (2020)
5'37", video, color, digital, sound, 2020

Bilaterians are animals with two-sided symmetry, i.e, having a left and a right side that are mirror images of each other. This notion of symmetry is explored in the worms that Duboutay has been working on. On the dialectic of the worm video, Duboutay tries to diffuse some of the anthropocentric binarism that inevitably happens while working with other living organisms that aren’t human. - Valeria Montoya

This audiovisual project is developed by the need to continue creating during the state of confinement that occurred in Madrid during Covid-19.
He tries to translate the company's staged and choreographic composition into a new format, transforming the domestic space into staging. With this proposal we want to transform the state of seclusion into visual poetry and give hope to the viewer

In this proposal we try to work on performance, dance and theater, elaborating synergies with the audiovisual element. We try to find a way in which the performative does not lose its essence by becoming digital, experimenting with the limits of the spatial context and technological resources
